Along with the already-released <a href=\"https:\/\/store.playstation.com\/en-us\/concept\/10003164\"><em>Silent Hill: The Short Message<\/em><\/a>, the odd experiment that was <em>Silent Hill: Ascension<\/em>, and the highly anticipated remake of <em>Silent Hill 2<\/em>, they also have <em>Silent Hill f<\/em> and <em>Silent Hill: Townfall<\/em> waiting in the wings, not to mention a new movie entitled <em>Return to Silent Hill<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, the well-informed industry insider <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AestheticGamer1?t=pS4CK7yGM-fVZg63nh4DCQ&amp;s=09\">AestheticGamer<\/a>, also known as Dusk Golem, has provided us with insight into Konami\u2019s plans for the <em>Silent Hill<\/em> series. They announced on Twitter that Konami had released its Q1 results, which were the strongest in the company\u2019s history. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to the future of <em>Silent Hill<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Dusk Golem also revealed that \u201cThere is also an internally developed <em>SH<\/em> game in the works and a couple other unannounced things.\u201d This comes as exciting news since we considered <em>The Short Message<\/em> a very well-made game.\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.relyonhorror.com\/reviews\/review-silent-hill-the-short-message\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">review<\/a><\/span>\u00a0said that it \u201cfeels like a bold, fresh start for a series that has grown stagnant and burdened by the weight of its own legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You can view Dusk Golem\u2019s full tweets below.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet tw-align-center\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">(2\/2) Obviously, Silent Hill 2 Remake will be releasing in a few months on October 7th for PC &amp; PS5. Konami originally approached the Japanese game developer, known as <a href=\"https:\/\/hexadrive.jp\/\">HexaDrive<\/a>,\u00a0to discuss the possibility of porting the <em>Silent Hill<\/em> series. They later decided to prioritize a remake of <em>Silent Hill 2<\/em> instead.<\/p>\n<p>HexaDrive\u2019s prototype of\u00a0<em>SH2<\/em>\u00a0did not move forward, so Konami chose Bloober Team to develop it instead. Later, Konami contacted\u00a0HexaDrive to develop\u00a0<em>The Short Message<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We will update this developing story as soon as we have more information.
